Farewell, Twitter: A Reluctant Goodbye

Despite multiple attempts to reconnect, I'm bidding a reluctant farewell to Twitter, a platform whose potential I once loved but whose current state leaves me no choice but to let go.

Farewell, Twitter: A Reluctant Goodbye

I tried. I really wanted to give Twitter another chance - a second, third, even a fourth. I've lost count of how many times I've reconsidered. Perhaps I'll return someday, but without a major overhaul or new ownership, it seems the platform is destined to sink.

It's disheartening because I truly love the concept of Twitter. However, its current execution and management have strayed so far from its potential that I can no longer see a path forward. Like many others, I initially just removed the app and left my accounts dormant. But now, it feels pointless to maintain even that tenuous connection.

The time has come to fully disconnect and allow my presence there to fade away. It's with a heavy heart that I say goodbye to Twitter, a platform that once held so much promise but now seems to be wilting before our eyes.

Farewell, Twitter. You'll be missed, but not in your current form.
