[DevLog][02] goBerzerk - Adding robot animations

Robot animations and sounds

Today I created robot animations using Pixelorama.  I also found some original recordings of the arcade game from 1980 on a site called SampleSwap.org.  I pulled the sound files into Audacity and made some robot chirps like "Fight like a Robot!" and "Get the Humanoid!".  That should be pretty fun when playing.

I also changed out the player to the default Godot icon as that is the next thing I'd like to tackle and the one from Ether Dasher really did not fit.

One final thing as I learned about Sonic Pi, I grabbed an example song from there and added it as the game music for now.  I hope to change it out in the future with my own work as I learn how to use Sonic Pi.

Done

  • Created robot sprites and animations
  • Added different game music from Sonic Pi examples
  • Edited and created new robot voice commands
  • Changed the player to default Godot icon for now
